Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası Corporate Communication Manager İpek G. Halim Taşkapılı and Corporate Communication Unit employees Ceylan Çınarlılı and Adem Kavaz made presentations at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) to Public Relations and Advertising Department students regarding Iconic Brands and Icon-Creating Processes with workshops with Limasol türk Kooperatif Bankası icons Lim and Lima.
In the workshop and presentation, Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası Corporate Communication Manager İpek G. Halim Taşkapılı stressed the importance of creativity in advertisements and brand icons. Later on, Taşkapılı explained to the students with examples how to design creative icons and the advantages of using icons in detail.
Presented in English and Turkish, presentations and workshop activities included information on how Lim and Lima are created for Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası, the most deep-rooted bank of Cyprus. Halim Taşkapılı, who shared her knowledge and experiences with students on brand icons, also drew great attention with her energy. Following the presentation, students had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and created their own brand icons in the workshop.
At the end of the event, Head of the Department Prof Dr Anıl Kemal Kaya and Deputy Head of the Department Asst. Prof Umut Ayman presented a plate to İpek G Halim Taşkapılı, Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası Corporate Communication Manager, in order to thank her.
On the other hand, it is indicated that these publication activities started by the Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası Corporate Communication Unit are to continue in different universities.
