Made decision to convey gratitude to projects with themes of women stories in Cyprus at 8th March, Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası awarded the projects of Gülşen Erçin Vaiz’s, Womaning Stories, work of women biographies, Bellapais Inner Wheel Club’s “Cyprus’ Leader Women” book project and the documentary “Lives of Cypriot Women” filming different occupational groups by Women Stories Association were awarded. Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası stated their reasons for the awards as follows:
“Firstly, all women associations and foundations are of great importance for us. This year we wanted to award Gülşen Erçin Vaiz’s, Bellapais Inner Wheel Club’s book project and Women Stories Association’s remarkable works. Because, it is very important that they wrote notes to the future by looking at their pasts. Therefore, we would like to thank all of them for these immortal works they produced. We believe that each story told will create a butterfly effect in other women’s lives and make drastic changes. The more women stories are told, the stronger the women get.”
