Limasol Bankası Female Employees donated into Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality Women Shelter House on 8th March International Women Labourer’s Day.
Limasol Bankası Human Resources Manager İlknur Aydoğdu stated “Instead of distributing presents to our female labourers this year on 8th March International Women Labourers Day, as Limasol Bankası female employees, we wanted to make donations to Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality Women Shelter House and we believe that this is the most valuable present given to women so that “We can contribute into women empowerment in their lives.”
Limasol Bankası Deputy General Manager Müzeyyen Öztürker stated “I firstly would like to convey my biggest gratitude to Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality Women Shelter House to open their doors for women who are exposed to violence and seek a safe roof with their children. For Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası female employees, who gain their strength from producing, and use this power to spread love on 8th March International Women Day, I would like to say that 70 per cent of our workers are formed of female individuals. As Limasol Bankası female employees, we are proud to make this contribution on this significant day and we celebrate this special day of all women.”
Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality Women Shelter House Director Sibel Taçay Demirpençe and Ayşe Kişmir, Project Supervisor of LTB Together Against Violence indicated that “LTB Women Shelter House is the mere shelter house for women within our country and embraces many women across the country along with providing them with various services. The empowerment of women in terms of effectiveness for a bearable world, and for better use of rights in terms of health, politics and legal issues plays a big role in distribution of the rights between men and women in accordance with justice and equally to provide them with equal use of these rights. Women are prerequisite for an educated, well-knowned and aware modern society. Hereby, we celebrate the International Women Day of LTKB female workers and express our gratitude for this significant contribution in the name of our women for by this means, it means them to be heard and look the future with bright eyes.”
