Limasol Bankası Contributes into SOS Children Village: “All for Children”

A mutual understanding protocol that will last for a year between SOS Children Village and Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası is signed within the 1st June International Children Day. With the aid of the protocol, Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası will cover the expenses of education, pocket money, food and health for SOS Children Village Lefkoşa headquarter resident.

Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası General Manager and Member of Executive Board İlkin Yoğurtçuoğlu hosted the protocol ceremony at General Directorate of Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası and the SOS Children Village National Manager Refika İnce, Fund Developing Manager Cemil Hafız and Corporate Fund Developing Supervisor Fatma Çizenel.

Limasol Bankası Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası General Manager and Member of Executive Board İlkin Yoğurtçuoğlu stated their honour to be in collaboration with SOS Children Village for many years. Yoğurtçuoğlu said “SOS Children Village and Limasol Türk Kooperatif Bankası gathered today on 1st June International Children Day and we are glad to sign this protocol in order to maintain equal rights to all children in their educations and welfare so that they become productive people for their community in the future. We are happy to stand by SOS Children Village in this mission and glad to be contributing in their efforts. I believe that all foundations will show the same support.”

In his message regarding the subject, Hüseyin Kemaler, Limasol Bankası Head of Executive Board said “Through various means, Limasol Bankası has provided financial and moral support to SOS Children Village and we will continue to do so. This mission is of all of us to provide support in SOS Children Village’s efforts in shaping the future of the children and creating a better and secure future for them and providing a home full of love while they are raising.”

National Manager Refika İnce provided information on the activities of the association and said:

“SOS Children Village is one of the biggest and independent non-profit organisations which aims to provide social development for children under the recognition of Kinderdorf International and functions as a civil society developmental organisation in North Cyprus which provides family-care for children and teenagers, supports children and their families who are under risks of losing their family unity , providing kindergarten activities and allocating capacity enhancing training in various fields while defending the rights of children.”

Refika İnce thanked to Limasol Bankası management and all employees who acted through the perspective of social responsibility and contributed into the welfare of children who are residing at SOS Children Village. İnce stated that SOS Children Village carries out its activities with the assistance of the donations as all penny counts be them individual or corporate. İnce also indicated that there are currently more than 200 people including families, children and teenagers who receive support from SOS Children Village.
